ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The Pinnacle Corporation (Pinnacle), a leading supplier of technology automation solutions for retail convenience stores and fuel inventory management, and National Bankcard Services, Inc.(NBS), a leading provider of electronic payment solutions, today announced they have jointly completed and certified the integration between the Pinnacle Palm POS™ point-of sale and NBS payment processing host; the combined solution is now compliant with Europay, MasterCard, and Visa (EMV), a global standard for credit payment cards based on chip card technology.
Currently in live beta-testing at multiple locations, Pinnacle’s Palm POS with NBS provides petro retailers with the highest level of protection available against card-present data fraud and will accept EMV chip-cards for indoor transactions with EMV approved Ingenico payment terminals.
