Pinnacle Releases Enhanced Fuel Inventory / Predictive Analysis Solution

ARLINGTON, Texas, March 13, 2012 – The Pinnacle Corporation (Pinnacle) announced today the latest release of its Dispatcher Workstation™ solution, the company’s browser-based, real-time tank inventory monitoring and predictive analysis solution designed for fuel buyers and dispatchers.

Pinnacle’s Dispatcher Workstation (DWS) monitors and displays multi-site fuel inventory information graphically and in real-time, enabling on-the-go operators to quickly and accurately assess fuel inventories and respond to immediate dispatch and inventory needs.  With its predictive analysis tools and algorithms, Dispatcher Workstation provides operators with gallon per hour (GPH) depletion rates and product run out (PRO) timeframes, forecasting when inventory will be exhausted.

Dispatcher Workstation minimizes costly dispatcher errors resulting in over-stocking fuel tanks with excessive inventory.  With the ability to quickly determine when locations really require replenishment and confirm in real-time when fuel loads have been delivered, DWS facilitates a “just-in-time” fuel inventory management model.

The latest release of Pinnacle’s Dispatcher Workstation adds mobile monitoring and alert capabilities for operators on-the-go. This release also allows a Pinnacle-hosted SaaS implementation model for operators who don’t have or desire the IT infrastructure required to reap the benefits from the DWS solution.

With the mobility of Dispatcher Workstation, working effectively outside of the office just became a little easier. “Real-time information is the key to accomplishing a true just-in-time fuel inventory management program,” says Brian Reynolds, Director of Fuel Solutions at Pinnacle, “fuel price volatility is here to stay and most operators are more dependent than ever on split load delivery capabilities.  DWS assists dispatchers and fuel buyers in making more informed delivery decisions, and now does so from the convenience of their mobile device.”
