Pinnacle’s Affiniti Cloud POS is LIVE at Git’N Go Market

Arlington, Texas, August 11, 2020 – The Pinnacle Corporation (www.pinncorp.com), the leader in point-of-sale, loyalty shopper engagement solutions, and cloud mobile platform products for retail convenience stores, announced today that Git’N Go Market, a convenience store and petroleum operator headquartered in Clinton, TN, has implemented the first Affiniti Cloud POS System in their c-store
environment.

Git’N Go is taking another step in their enterprise customer engagement strategy by being the first to deploy Affiniti Cloud POS in a live store environment. The Affiniti cloud architecture is a platform for all front of the house applications -POS, Mobile App, Mobile Ordering, Self Checkout, Kiosk, and much more. With shared components like a cloud product catalog and central management of systems, along with an underlying microservices architecture and HTML 5 web apps easily accessible from a Browser, the Affiniti Cloud POS is extensible via shared APIs and faster and easier to maintain, allowing interaction with processes and data in real
time.

Two years ago, Git’N Go wanted to position its convenience store and foodservice operations as the premier destination for its customers and knew they needed a mobile presence and shopper engagement tools to connect with their customers to offer them incentives to visit, while at the same time giving them the flexibility via mobile and kiosk to order what they want, when they want. So they implemented Pinnacle’s Affiniti Cloud QSR solutions that include Mobile Ordering, Consumer Kiosk, and Kitchen System, giving their customers the ultimate in convenience experience.
With the addition of the Affiniti Cloud POS they now have ONE HARMONIOUS TECHNOLOGY ECOSYSTEM.

The Affiniti Cloud Platform was built for retailers focused on speed of service, convenience, customer engagement and personalization. A holistic front counter experience, integrated with loyalty and shopper engagement tools, consumer mobile applications and foodservice capabilities. Benefits? Lower upfront costs, faster deployment and integration of new features, data security offered by Cloud systems, and the ease of software maintenance and updates… just to name a few.

The Post at River East Begins Rolling Out Pinnacle’s Affiniti Mobile Ordering Solution

Arlington, Texas, May 4, 2020 – The Pinnacle Corporation (www.pinncorp.com), the leader in point-of-sale, loyalty and shopper engagement solutions, and cloud mobile platform products for retail convenience stores, announced today that The Post at River East in downtown Fort Worth, TX, a restaurant, bar and live entertainment
venue has selected Pinnacle’s Affiniti Mobile Ordering solution to power their mobile app and to help their customers and employees practice social distancing.

The Post is a restaurant, music venue, and courtyard bar serving fresh homemade food, that has recently turned their focus toward affordable family-style takeout meals to meet the demands created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a new business in a revitalized area of Fort Worth, The Post had to make quick changes to adapt to new guidelines. In normal times, the business is centered around live music and a great atmosphere. With dine-in and large gatherings being prohibited, a pivot to contactless takeout and delivery became necessary. With the Pinnacle partnership, The Post will be able to minimize their interaction with customers while continuing to provide them with delicious food and beverages.

“The Affiniti Cloud technology allows us to accept orders and payments with no physical interaction between staff and customers, reduces the frequency of log jams on the phone, and saves us about 50 labor hours per week,” says Brooks Kendall, Operations Management at The Post. “The availability of the mobile ordering method has impacted our revenue in a meaningful way. The installation and implementation processes were speedy, and the Pinnacle customer care staff made the software a breeze to learn.”

With a limited set of mobile ordering choices, and features like order ahead, mobile payment, and select pick-up time, the Post Mobile Ordering App will provide a vehicle for their customers to place orders and take advantage of special offers. Working in conjunction with the Kitchen Display System, employees will be able to see the customer’s order, prepare the products for pick up, and deliver it to them in a frictionless way.

Said Mike Vaughn, VP Software & Services, The Pinnacle Corporation, “We’re excited to work with Brooks and The Post team to provide this technology to their customers. This is a challenging time for businesses and and small operators and we’re here to help meet this challenge with our technology.”

retailers its Affiniti Cloud Mobile Ordering solution to help their customers and their employees practice social distancing.

Retailers are on the front lines along with first responders and healthcare professionals taking care of Americans’ basic and essential needs during this national crisis. And Pinnacle knows it is a challenge to help consumers and cashiers maintain

Pinnacle Celebrates 30 Years Serving the Convenience Industry

Arlington, Texas, January 9, 2020 – Today, the Pinnacle Corporation (www.pinncorp.com) celebrates 30 years of technology innovation serving the convenience and petroleum industry! Pinnacle got its start in January 1990 by launching the Oasis Back Office product line to automate the store manager’s daily paperwork processes, and then in 1995 introduced the first
touchscreen Point of Sale System to the convenience and petroleum market.

Many things have changed since then – products, services, technologies, security standards, and much more – but one constant is Pinnacle’s dedication to the development of industry leading technology through collaboration with clients and partners to provide automation solutions that help retailers stay ahead of their competition.

Says Bob Johnson, President and CEO: “As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we want toacknowledge that we absolutely would not be here today without the support of our families, our staff, our clients, our business partners, and all of our industry colleagues. Thank you all for your
support of Pinnacle and our business strategies over these past 30 years. I can’t wait to see what the next 30 bring!”

Top 5 things you may not know about Pinnacle in 2020

1. Pinnacle is a privately held company 100% focused on the convenience market.
2. Pinnacle’s products include Point of Sale Software, Loyalty and Shopper Engagement Solutions, QSR and Foodservice Technology Products, and the Affiniti Cloud Platform Suite which not only includes solutions you can deploy to engage with your customers and grow your business, but also a shared platform that your IT teams can use to build and rapidly deploy your POS and Customer Engagement solutions.
3. Pinnacle is not a PDI company. Our friends at PDI know we say this somewhat tongue and cheek, but there are a surprising number of c-store folks who think we sold the company in 2017. We did not. We’re still here!
4. Pinnacle has hosted an annual client conference, thanks to the participation by our many sponsor partners, for 30 years; attended by clients, partners, and industry experts.
5. Pinnacle’s business strategy from the early 1990s has been to serve our clients well by never forcing them to rebuy software solutions they have already purchased from us. That means we continue to have Palm POS customers using the same product they purchased from us in 1995 that has remained current, fresh and modern.

Says Melissa Fox Hadley, VP Marketing & Innovation: “We don’t know what the next 30 years will hold, and suspect many of you don’t know either – technology is moving faster than ever these days! But, as we continue to add staff, add new customers, add partners, invest in technology and development of our core product lines, attend tradeshows, invest in industry associations, and all of the things we think it takes to make a company great – we’re excited for the possibilities!”

Says Peter Steele, VP Research & Development: “Since the introduction of IoT, Cloud and Mobile, the technology landscape has evolved more rapidly than ever before. We’re excited to introduce our Affiniti Cloud product line and shared platform into the convenience market. Affiniti provides capabilities for retailers of all sizes, whether using products we’ve built with 30 years of industry experience or jump-starting building their own solutions on the platform.”

Double Quick Rolls Out Pinnacle’s Affiniti Cloud Shopper Engagement Platform

Arlington, Texas, September 30, 2019 – The Pinnacle Corporation
(www.pinncorp.com), the leader in point-of-sale, loyalty and customer engagement solutions, and cloud mobile platform products for retail convenience stores, announced today y that longtime Palm POS customer, Double Quick Inc., has successfully rolled out the Double Quick “Quick Pass” program powered by Pinnacle’s Affiniti Cloud Shopper Engagement
Platform.

Said Melissa Fox Hadley, VP Marketing & Innovation, The Pinnacle
Corporation, “We’re thrilled to have been able to work with the Double Quick team to visualize and implement a shopper engagement strategy that will enable them to better understand and reward their customers, while providing them the data they need to make impactful decisions that will continue to grow their program.”

The Double Quick challenge was to build store loyalty with their customers and provide the items they wish to purchase from a c-store, as well as new-offerings to keep the experience fresh and exciting. The main goal – shift some of their traditional marketing expense and efforts to supporting Quick Pass, and their customers’ focus to the mobile app.

The solution: Pinnacle Affiniti Cloud Shopper Engagement Platform, building on Double Quick’s existing Pinnacle POS system and their customers’ WiFi connection. This enabled Double Quick to collect and profile shopper data to create relevant, personalized marketing and customer-engagement strategies that can be activated across all devices and channels. It also provides timely and relevant content for their customers, including personalized offers and promotions when they are in Double
Quick stores, and when they are away.

Said Lauren Scott, Director of Marketing, Double Quick Inc. , “Connecting all this data and making it actionable is providing a wealth of customer information and insight we are using to drive deeper customer engagement. This has helped us refine our marketing and promotions in real-time, and has made operational, inventory, and merchandising decision-making easier. Leveraging data like this from a single source,
made possible by the Pinnacle Shopper Engagement Platform, is creating revenue opportunities for Double Quick by identifying consumer habits and personalization opportunities.”

By learning more about their customers – their shopping habits, preferences, expectations, needs, and wants – Double Quick plans to hone their offerings to offer a more personalized shopping experience. By making this transition, Double Quick expects to bring many sources of customer data together to better understand their shoppers.
